Who I Am

Mrs. Grant-Workman is a licensed clinical social worker who creates a safe space for children, teens, caregivers, and adults navigating uncertainty, anxiety, depression, and difficult transitions. She earned a Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan as a Clarice Ullman Freud Fellow and a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from the University of Tennessee, Summa Cum Laude. She is licensed as a Clinical Social Worker in Virginia (March 2023) and as a Licensed Master Social Worker in Maryland.

Mrs. Grant-Workman has been with Ansari & Associates since 2020, working with a diverse caseload ranging from children as young as age 4 to adults up to age 60. She conducts comprehensive psychosocial assessments and draws on cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and play therapy techniques.

Before beginning her clinical career, she spent six years as a preschool teacher in Alexandria, Virginia — an experience that continues to inform her therapeutic work with young children and their caregivers today.
